While I am as certain as I can be that this is an issue endemic to Audition (and not FabFilter) I thought you might want to know of it. I’ve opened a trouble ticket/bug report with Adobe and one of the Audition developers has been able to recreate this error. I do not experience this issue at all with Sony Acid Pro 6.0 and, of course, the RTAS versions of FabFilter work perfectly. With the VST version of Izotope Ozone Audition remembers my preferred settings perfectly and the freeware VST plugin GlaceVerb is also recalled correctly. This is not exclusive to FabFilter, as I have also seen this behavior while using “Replicant” from Audio Damage and the suite of DirectX plugins from Sonitus. I can “save” the session, yet when I close the session then reopen it all of the plugins have reverted back to “default” settings. In other words let’s say I have Pro-C’s vocal setting “Control” assigned to a couple of bus tracks, Timeless assigned to a track using the “Basic Stereo Delay” and a Volcano “High-Cut” preset on another track.
I just thought I’d make you guys aware of a situation I have experienced using Timeless, Pro-C and Volcano (fully registered versions) with Adobe Audition 3.0.Īudition cannot “remember” the settings I use in any session.
